How it works
Cross-border referral still runs on who you happen to know.
You email a colleague, who emails a colleague, and three days later you have one name and no way to judge it. Juris Cross replaces that chain with a single, recorded process — four steps, the same for everyone.

Post the mandate
Country, practice area, scope, fee model and terms — set by you. There is no negotiation on the platform: the lawyer either takes your terms or does not apply.

Eligible lawyers apply
Only members practising in that jurisdiction and practice area ever see it. Nothing is matched for you and nothing is ranked — the shortlist is whoever chose to put their name forward.

Choose without the letterhead
While the mandate is open, both sides stay unnamed. You read jurisdiction, experience and what each applicant wrote — and decide on the merits, not the masthead.

Work it on the record
The moment you accept, identities open and so do encrypted messaging and file exchange. Every stage, file and status change is written to a record neither side can edit and either can print.
The platform
Once it is accepted, the matter has somewhere to live.
Referral is the easy part. What usually goes wrong afterwards is that the work scatters across two inboxes in two countries, and neither side can reconstruct what was agreed. These are the actual screens.

- Stages, files, approvals and status changes are appended as they happen, and either party can print the result.
- Messages encrypted at rest
- Chat is stored encrypted, never as plain text. An administrator can only decrypt with a logged, reported reason.
- You choose how long it lives
- One month or one year, fixed before the mandate opens. When it runs out the chat and files are deleted for good.
- Stages both sides agree to
- Either party proposes a stage; the other accepts, submits, approves or asks for a revision.

Admission
A closed network is only worth something if the door is real.
Here is exactly what it is, and what it is not yet.
Nobody walks in
There is no open sign-up. You join with a referral code from a member or a direct invitation, and a code is good for 30 days. Without one, your application comes to us and we decide.
The record follows you
After a completed mandate both sides rate each other out of 10 and may leave a comment. Neither score appears until both have voted or 14 days pass, so no one can answer a rating with a rating. Scores are weighted towards the platform average until a member has enough of them — one bad week cannot define someone, and one good review cannot make them.
Identity checks: not yet
Formal verification — identity documents, liveness, and bar registration checked against the bar itself — is planned for 2027. Until it opens, every member is unverified, no badges are shown, and no mandate can require one. We would rather say that than imply a check we are not running.
